Shirts! was written and directed by award winning photographer and filmmaker Jane Rosemont

(Pie Lady of Pie Town, Apotheosis). She was inspired

by the fact that her husband has, for decades, sought out unusual material for custom-made shirts.

One of a kind, sometimes subtle, often blatant, they

garner comments wherever he goes. They have become

affectionately known as "Dick-Shirts."

 

But make no mistake, this short-short film is no fashion show. Be prepared for some unusual "shirt tales" 

including an alien abduction, a miracle balloon animal,

and a crushing experience with beverage cans.

The film features music historian and vinyl record

authority Dick Rosemont, AKA The Guy in the Groove.

Together, he and Jane are a real life Dick & Jane story.

Shirts! was filmed on March 12, 2017, in Santa Fe,

New Mexico, at Underexposed Studios. Cinematographer Seth Fuller had also worked with Jane on her second film,  Apotheosis.

 

The film had its West Coast Premiere at Dances With Films Festival in Hollywood in June, 2018. Success!
